Atascosa Health Center, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization with a volunteer Board of Directors. The majority of Board members are patients of our clinics and represent the communities in which our clinics are located. Being mostly patients themselves, they are able to structure and approve AHC’s operations, ensuring responsiveness to the needs of our unique, five-county service area. The community’s health and well being guides the Board in the planning and operations of all agency activities.
